Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 15 Ultra device globally via the MWC 2025 event. The device was first launched in mainland China. The company calls the device a ‘god of night photography’. Now, the teardown of the flagship device has been released online revealing its internal design and huge camera module.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra teardown gives us a glimpse at its internal design structure
A YouTube WeikiHome has uploaded the teardown video of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The teardown starts with the SIM try being removed first. The try has a rubber gasket to provide dust and water resistance. After the panel is being removed, we can see multiple runner rings inside which are there to further strengthen the water resistance of the device.
In the video, we can see that the 200-megapixel telephoto lens takes the largest space out of all the lenses. All the camera lenses combined take so much space that it takes half of the panel’s space and leaves the other half for sub-board and battery.
Noticeable change has been done to the shape of motherboard to fit-in the camera lenses. It’s been thickened to provide strength to the structure. The RAM and storage parts can be seen and its being manufactured frkm the Hynix. The chipset and camera have heat dissipation film for improved heat management. The large heat sink is also visible.
