Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 15 in India earlier this month, but leaks about the brand’s next-generation flagship series have already begun surfacing online. A well-known tipster has revealed key details about the upcoming Xiaomi 16.
Xiaomi 16 Camera and Display Features
According to Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the Xiaomi 16 will feature several upgrades over its predecessor. Notably, the standard Xiaomi 16 is expected to move away from the 6.36-inch screen size seen on the Xiaomi 13, 14, and 15. Instead, the device may adopt a larger display, possibly ranging between 6.5 and 6.67 inches.
In addition to the larger screen, Xiaomi is reportedly focusing on a slim and lightweight design for the Xiaomi 16. This is said to be achieved by incorporating an ultra-thin stacked periscope telephoto camera. The combination of a larger display and a slimmer profile aligns with the industry trend of making smartphones increasingly thinner.
Alongside the Xiaomi 16, the company is also expected to introduce the Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Ultra. However, details about these models remain scarce, with more information likely to surface in the coming days.
