Xiaomi launched the Civi 4 Pro in China in March 2024, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The same device was later rebranded as the Xiaomi 14 Civi for its June 2024 release. Now, the company is reportedly preparing to unveil its successor, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, as per a recent leak.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro specs tipped
Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key details about the upcoming device in a Weibo post. It is reported that this upcoming smartphone is the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is said to sport a 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display, maintaining uniform curvature across all edges. It is expected to feature a centered dual punch-hole design, housing two front-facing cameras, similar to its predecessor.
At the back, the device retains the signature circular camera module located in the top-left corner, housing the main camera, ultra-wide-angle lens, and a vertically aligned telephoto lens. The phone will also feature a co-branded imaging system, likely developed in collaboration with Leica.
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC (model number SM8735), an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The chipset is expected to share its core architecture with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Additionally, the phone is tipped to include a fiberglass back panel, offering a slim and lightweight design. It may also pack a 5000mAh battery.
