Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, including the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, in China on October 29th 2024. Following weeks of speculation, the company has officially confirmed the launch date for the Xiaomi Pad 7 in India.
Xiaomi Pad 7 India launch details
According to a live Amazon microsite, the Xiaomi Pad 7 will debut in India on January 10th, 2025, and will be available for purchase via Amazon. However, there’s no word yet on the Pro variant of the series. This mirrors Xiaomi’s earlier strategy, where the Xiaomi Pad 6 was launched in India but the Pad 6 Pro was not.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 in India is likely to feature specifications similar to its Chinese counterpart. In China, the base variant of the Xiaomi Pad 7 was priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs 23,274). For the Indian market, it is expected to be priced under Rs 30,000. As the launch date approaches, Xiaomi is likely to reveal more details about the device.
