iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are the only older models that support Apple Intelligence feature. Sadly, it may not support Visual Intelligence, one of the Apple Intelligence features. This is because there’s no dedicated camera control button present on the iPhone 15 Pro models. However, recently Apple has announced iPhone 16e that also doesn’t have a camera control button unlike iPhone 15 Pro models. But they have confirmed that Visual Intelligence will be available in the coming days for iPhone 15 Pro models.
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will receive Visual Intelligence
The brand confirmed to Daring Fireball that the Visual Intelligence feature is ready to roll out in an upcoming release that will bring AI-powered recognition to more users. It will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max which are expected on the latest iOS 18.4 beta updates. While, the stable version of the update is likely to release in April somehow.
iPhone 16 series built with a new camera control button where users can access Visual Intelligence effortlessly through the camera button. But with the launch of iPhone 16e, the brand has confirmed that Visual Intelligence will be launched in upcoming days on iPhone 15 Pro models which can be accessed by using the Action button. In addition, there’s a report that the Visual Intelligence feature will present on a control center toggle for easier access.
With Visual Intelligence feature, user’s are able to identify objects, landmarks, plants, animals, etc. Plus, the feature can provide the information based on your inputs whether it’s a restaurant or something else. Furthermore, iPhone 16 models will get a feature to launch Visual Intelligence feature directly from the control center button in the future updates.
