Airtel launched its Airtel Xstream AirFiber a fixed wireless access (FWA) powered by 5G Plus. The Airtel Xstream AirFiber is similar to the Jio Air Fiber which is expected to be available for purchase from this upcoming Reliance AGM.

Airtel Xstream AirFiber is India’s First wireless Wi – Fi solution which offers internet to consumers even in places where the Internet connectivity is very low. According to the company, Airtel Xstream AirFiber will address the last – mile connectivity issue in both rural and urban places in India.
Airtel Xstream AirFiber plug and play device built on Wi – Fi 6 technology which can offer 50 percent higher speed compared to Wi – Fi 5 router, device offers a wide indoor coverage and it can connect up to 64 devices. Company claimed Airtel Xstream AirFiber will offer better speed, convergence, device security and more.
Users can use the Airtel Xstream AirFiber with quick and easy self installation through the Airtel Xstream AirFiber app and users also can manage the connection through the same applications.
Airtel Xstream AirFiber Price in India
Airtel Xstream AirFiber Priced at Rs 799 per month 18 percent GST not included, this plan offers up to 100MBps speed, unlimited Internet. This plan can be availed for six months with one – time refundable security deposit of Rs 2500.
Currently the Airtel Xstream AirFiber is only available in Mumbai, Delhi customers have to visit the nearest Airtel store to opt in “Airtel Xstream AirFiber”. According to Airtel, Airtel Xstream AirFiber will expand in more cities in a phased manner. “All Xstream AirFiber devices will be manufactured in India under the “Make in India” initiative” says Airtel.
How to setup Airtel Xstream AirFiber
- Firstly get the device from the nearest Airtel store.
- Then find a good place from where the device can emit the signal in the “whole area” through the app where you are setting the device.
- Connect your device by scanning the QR code, selecting the Wi – Fi name on your device.
