Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has now officially announced that WhatsApp will let you send HD photos and WhatsApp is testing this feature a couple of times. This feature is now rolling out Globally and it will reach all users in coming weeks. WhatsApp also confirmed the WhatsApp user will soon also be able to send the HD videos.
Until Now WhatsApp is degrading the photo quality, so maintain the storage and the sharing speed.
How send HD Photos on WhatsApp
- By default WhatsApp has setted that setting to Standard definition (SD) but users can select the quality of images before sending.
- Once you will get this feature, you can choose to send your photos in HD or SD quality.
- But to send your photos in HD quality you have to set it to HD otherwise it will send in SD quality.
WhatsApp also confirmed that the users will soon be able to send the HD videos. Currently this feature is in beta testing for Android and iOS users.

With this HD quality photos sharing feature users can share the nearby photo quality to the sender. Because even if you send the photos in HD quality, the application algorithm will make little compression but the HD quality photos will look close to the actual image.
