WhatsApp is rolling out many new features weekly. Now WhatsApp rolls out the screen sharing during video calls like other video calling platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom.
WhatsApp Screen share during video calls
- WhatsApp recently rolled out this feature, users are now able to share the screen during video calls. With this feature users are now able to share a live view of their device screen.
- This Screen share feature was recently launched by WhatsApp and it is available in WhatsApp Mobile, Desktop and Tablet. But it takes some time to reach all users.
- You can enable the WhatsApp Screen share by selecting the ‘share’ icon during video call.
- WhatsApp will let you choose between sharing any specific app or your entire screen. So if you do not want to screen your whole screen so you can share the visual of any specific applications.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced this feature along with an example image of how screen sharing on WhatsApp works. In this feature WhatsApp will work in landscape mode where the on 80 percent screen covered by screen share feature and the video call participants are visible on the right side.
But the landscape mode with this feature is fixed on all devices so you can’t change the orientation.
Edit media caption on WhatsApp
Till now iPhone WhatsApp users aren’t able to edit their Media caption if there is any mistake. Now WhatsApp adds this feature also for iPhone users. Now you can edit the media caption which you added in sended photos and videos if there are any errors or mistakes.
