- HyperOS by Xiaomi is legitimate.
- The Xiaomi 14 series will receive HyperOS first, according to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun.
- Here is everything we know about MIUI’s replacement, HyperOS.
A new operating system named HyperOS has been unveiled by Xiaomi. Xiaomi HyperOS is the culmination of “years of collective work,” according to company CEO Lei Jun. He disclosed that the Xiaomi 14 series will serve as the HyperOS’s official launch platform. What then happens to MIUI? Let’s investigate.
Will HyperOS take over for MIUI?
For some time now, there have been rumors of a new Xiaomi operating system named MiOS. Additionally, we have seen two newly registered trademarks, “Xiaomi Pengpai” and “Xiaomi Hyper.” Now, we are aware of its name: HyperOS.
That HyperOS will “gradually succeed MIUI” has been confirmed by Jun on Weibo. As was already mentioned, HyperOS will debut on the Xiaomi 14 series. He states that the Xiaomi 14 series is in production and comes with HyperOS as the operating system.
Perhaps HyperOS will eventually become the default operating system for all Xiaomi smartphones and tablets. If upgrades to HyperOS follow those to the Android version, that would be interesting to see.
Vivo’s strategy of releasing phones with two separate operating systems for various markets is something Xiaomi may adopt. Vivo keeps its Origin OS as a Mainland China-only offering while distributing Funtouch OS in international markets, including India.
It’s also possible that HyperOS is just a fresh, exclusive label for Xiaomi’s software in the country of origin. We should soon have more information. In the interim, the Redmi K60 Ultra will undoubtedly feature MIUI 15. We’ll have to wait and see if Xiaomi decides to change the OS for that device as well.
Release information for Xiaomi HyperOS
Lei Jun responded “Stay Tuned” when an X user inquired about the global launch of HyperOS. This suggests a possibility but does not formally confirm its international accessibility.
stay tuned?
