Apple released iOS 17.0.3 update to fix the overheating on iPhone 15 Pro

Apple highlighted two vulnerabilities in an update summarizing the security changes included in this release, which were corrected for both iOS and iPadOS. The first of the two was a kernel flaw that a hacker who had local access to the device could take advantage of. In a statement, Apple said that the flaw “may have been extensively attacked against versions of iOS prior to iOS 16.6.”
