Apple iOS 17.2 update new features
Journal app
Apple released the Journal app, a wellness and health tool, with the most recent iOS version. It helps users record their daily thoughts and activities. The app was first released in conjunction with the release of iOS 17 during the company’s June WWDC event.
Both Touch ID and Face ID security options are accessible to users, and filters are provided to make it easier to retrieve bookmarked articles from their journal. The program also has scheduled reminders to remind users to write at the times of their choosing, and iCloud keeps all of the entries synchronized.
Spatial video capture support
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may now record spatial videos thanks to the latest update. You may see these videos in three dimensions by using Apple’s mixed reality headset, Vision Pro.
Furthermore, when taking pictures of far-off subjects, the recently released iOS 17.2 update improves the telephoto sensors’ accuracy and quickness of focus on the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Translate feature for the iPhone 15 Pro Action Button
The Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max now has a translate feature. With this capability, users can converse with others who speak different languages or translate sentences quickly.
New feature in the Message app
New features have been added to the Messages app, like a catch-up button that allows users to press the arrow in the top-right corner of a discussion to instantly navigate to the first unread message.
Furthermore, Contact Key Verification has been added to the Messages app as a security feature to assist users who may be facing online dangers.
A number of new features are included in iOS 17.2, including upgrades to Memoji, improved AirDrop, a Favorite Songs Playlist in Apple Music, new weather widgets, a digital clock widget, and more. Additionally, the tech giant has made the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series compatible with Qi2 wireless charging.
